the arts.

Volunteer and pro-bono work include the Arts Coalition of Asbury Park (artsCAP) as a member of its Board and Chair of the
Public/Private Partnership Committee; and a Board Member of the Hope Academy Charter School Foundation. He also plays an informal
role in several other community building efforts. The name Melarbit comes from a ‘blend’
of Melamed and Arbit. Steve Melamed was Bruce’s step-father, business coach and friend
for close to thirty years until he passed away in December, 2010. Much of the work of Melarbit Partners is inspired by this
relationship. Bruce is passionate about cooking and eating good food.
